Make a list of all the vocabulary words or facts which you will be making into flashcards.
Open a blank Word document and set up the program for label making. Computer systems vary but this label making section is usually found under the options tab.
Locate postcard template number. When purchasing precut postcards from an office supply store there is a template number located on the box. In the options menu of the label screen find the template number you are using.
Set the font for the flashcards. From the home menu on your Word document, select the number next to the font name to adjust the font size of your flashcards to the desired size.
Type the text for each flashcard into the template Word document. The screen will show four postcards on each page and you can easily tab between sections to add the flashcard text.
Type the back of each flashcard. The Word document program will automatically make every second page the back of the flashcards. Insert the answers or vocabulary information you would like to appear on the back of the first page of postcards.
Repeat step 5 and step 6 until all vocabulary words or facts are complete.
Print postcards. It is necessary to hand feed the postcard paper into the printer for each page. By hand feeding the paper into the printer you can print on both the front and back sides of the postcards.
