Open your word processing program on your computer. Word processing programs can be used for a variety of projects and is the easiest program for making flashcards.
Click the file tab at the top of your word processing screen. Scroll down to either page setup or printer tab depending on the processing program you are using and click to open the page options window. On the page set up screen click the landscape radial button so that your page is now wider than it is long when printed.
Click the format tab at the top of your word processing screen. Scroll down to columns and click to open the columns screen. Select two columns and a line between the columns.
Place your cursor in the left column of the word processor. Click the center tab on the toolbar of your processor and then insert either a question, picture, or word depending on the subject of the flashcards. Place your cursor at the beginning of the question, picture, or word and press return until the object is in the middle of the paper. Repeat this process in the right column. Continue with new pages until all your flashcard fronts are made.
Place the answer to the question, the name of the picture, or definition of the word on a new page in the same manner that the front of the flashcards where made. Continue to do this for each flashcard until the backs of the flashcards are done.
Place card stock in your printer's paper tray. Print all the pages you have created in your word processing program.
Cut each page down the line between the two columns. Make sure to match up each flashcard front to the corresponding back. Glue the back of the flashcard to the front of the flashcard making sure that the question and answer are both visible. Let the cards dry and they are ready for a study session.
