Type the year the book was published within a set of parentheses. Press the period key and space bar.
Type the title of the book in italics. Capitalize the first letter of the first word in the title. Press the period key and space bar.
Type the city, a comma, and the abbreviation for the state in which the book was published. Press the colon symbol and space bar.
Type the name of the company that published the book. End the citation with a period. According to Purdue University's Online Writing Lab, an edited book reference with no known author should be as follows:
"Duncan, G. J., & Brooks-Gunn, J. (Eds.). (1997). Consequences of growing up poor (in italics). New York, NY: Russell Sage Foundation."
Type the title of the Web page. Capitalize the first letter of the first word and end with a period. Press the space bar.
Type the year the Web page was created within a set of parentheses. Press the period key and space bar.
Type "Retrieved" and the date you accessed the Web page. For example, "Retrieved June 2, 2011." Place a comma after the year and press the space bar.
Type "from" and paste the Web page's address. Find the Web page address by visiting the Web page from which you collected information. Right click on the address bar and select the copy option. Return to the document where you are typing your reference citation. Place your cursor on the screen one space after the word "from" and right click your mouse. Highlight and click on the "Paste" option.
Type the title of the book in italics. Capitalize the first letter of the first word in the title. Press the period key and space bar.
