Electrical grounding systems training courses are helpful for a variety of occupations. A short list includes electrical engineers, design engineers, design technologists, inspectors, project managers and safety personnel.
Training topics include common electrical grounding problems and associated solutions, law and policy requirements, testing procedures for various grounding systems, electronic equipment design and consequences of bad grounding system design.
Courses are typically two days in length and take approximately 15 hours to complete. Courses often come with a training handbook and CD-ROM study materials. Courses are available for beginner to advanced levels.
