Cardinal Gibbons High School is operated by the archdiocese of Miami and is run by the Piarist Fathers and the Sisters of Saint Francis of Mary Immaculate. It is a Catholic school that bases all teaching around the gospels of Christ, and is located close to the center of Fort Lauderdale, near Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. The school celebrates Mass as a whole everyday, and organizes regular retreats on the weekend. The school's guidance department helps students with academic and personal problems.
