    • Chavagnes International College, founded in 1802, is a private Catholic boarding school for boys. Chavagnes is based on the British educational system and offers a high level of teaching aimed at ensuring that boys are ready to apply for top universities around the world. Boys may enter the college at eleven years old and stay until they are eighteen to complete their "A" Level studies. Extra curricular activities include choral music, sport and drama. The Catholic faith "permeates and informs" the school approach to teaching.

    Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep

    • Orchard Lake St. Mary's Prep, established in 1885, is a Catholic boarding school in the Michigan area. This school offers college preparatory education for boys grades 9 to 12. The school is fully accredited and has a Polish-American heritage. This school aims to develop boys both educationally and spiritually to prepare them to become "Christian gentlemen, scholars, and men of service and leadership for the world." There is a "live-in" mentoring service to all boys who board at the college and the aim is to ensure that full advantage is taken of living in a communal Christian environment. One of the former boarders at this school was Edgar Rice Burroughs, author of "Tarzan."

    St Thomas More School

    • St Thomas More School was founded in 1962 and is a college preparatory Catholic school for boys. The school takes students from Grade 8 to postgraduate level. This is a small school with only around 200 students -- class sizes average 11 students per class -- so students are expected to achieve well. The goal for boys at St Thomas More is to "find his potential and maximize it." The curriculum at this school is described as "challenging" and there are over 50 different courses running at the school all aimed at preparing students to high standard for university entry. There is also a strong athletics program, cultural activities and trips throughout the year and special meals and celebrations in dorm groups. Catholic principles are followed throughout the school there are daily masses and weekly dorm masses.

    Saint Lawrence Seminary High School

    • Saint Lawrence Seminary High School is located in Wisconsin and was founded in 1860 by Capuchin Franciscans. This school aims to "to promote, foster, and live principles proclaimed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and articulated in the Roman Catholic Church." There are 225 student places at the school and the school prides itself on its culturally diverse student population. The school accepts students from Grade 8 and students can continue at the school until their senior year. The school offers a range of key academic topics such as maths, history, English and American literature. There is a strong emphasis on theology as some students will continue to enter the priesthood, but this is not expected of all students.
