Rochester Ultralight Sport Fun Flyers (RUFF) is a community club offering a family environment and regular event activities. The club offers a range of flying opportunities ranging from traditional Rogallo winged aircraft to 3-axis Quicksilver rigid ultralights, and fully enclosed light sport Kitfox airplanes. Additionally, the club operates a juvenile program focused on the education of teenage flyers.

Light Aircraft Flyers (LAF) 1017 is part of the EAA community and as such offers a range of services and educational opportunities beyond the typical club. The LAF provides construction for experimental light aircraft and a flight advisor who helps other club members with various ultralight or sports flying safety needs.

The Rochester Chapter of the EAA is one of the oldest and most established in the light aircraft community. The organization was started in 1957 and has been in continual operation since then. The club welcomes pilots, students or non-pilots who are interested in ultralights, light sport flying or general disciplines associated with the development and flying of experimental aircraft.
