California Accredited Nursing Schools

If a nursing student in California studies at an unaccredited nursing school, they will not be qualified by the California Board of Vocational Nursing & Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT) to take the National Council Licensure Examination or to be licensed in any way, even if their schooling is completed. Also, portions of nursing instruction taking through an unaccredited school will cause the rest of the education to be considered unaccredited, even if taken at an accredited school. Be aware of what California nursing schools are actually accredited to avoid having to retake some or all of your training.
