All combine research, theory and practical experience, and are designed for working students who already hold master's degrees, and want to become leaders in their professions. These programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
Capella University offers online doctoral business degrees in global operations and supply chain management, strategy and innovation, general organizational management, leadership, management education and management for non-profit agencies.
Jones International Online University offers an online doctorate degree in business administration. The course program is 72 credits in length at a cost of $690 per credit, as of 2010. The program centers on problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and leadership. JIU's program has no residency requirement. The university has a parallel mentoring program that helps the student through the dissertation process and at the same time helps the student in daily academics.
The University of Maryland University College offers an online business doctoral degrees in management. Military and Maryland state resident tuition rates are available. Dissertation-related courses are offered as well as academic core classes to give the student support in both arenas.
