Type a sum or equation into the command line and then press the "Enter" key.
Press the dual arrow key -- located above the "Enter" key -- to toggle between fractional and decimal answers.
Continue pressing the dual arrow key to scroll through a series of more answer options, including exact square root and exact pi.
Press the "Data" key.
Type your data into the list and then press the "Enter" key. Separate each entry by pressing the "n/d" key. For example, to type the list 1,2,3,4, press "1," "n/d," "2," "n/d," "3," "n/d," "4," "n/d" and "Enter."
Press the "2nd" key and then press the up-arrow key to go to the top of the next list to continue entering a second set of data, if required.
Enter data into a list, following the procedure in Section 2.
Press the "2nd" key and then press the "Stat" key.
Select "1-Var" or "2-Var" using the arrow keys and then press the "Enter" key.
