Roadmaster Drivers School has several locations throughout Florida. There are schools in Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa, as well as other locations in the United States. The Tampa school is located on a 27-acre site, the home of the Florida Fairgrounds. Roadmaster offers a quick, three- or four-week course and all locations offers training for both Class A and Class B commercial driver’s licenses. Tuition assistance is available for students who qualify, and the school is approved as a veteran training center. Roadmaster has a strict attendance policy; all students who miss class must make each class up before graduation. The school also offers job placement assistance for all graduates.

The CDL School also has several locations throughout Florida and the entire country. There are CDL School branches in Lake Worth, Miami and Coral Gables. All prospective students must first come by and fill out a Student Qualifications form and take part in a face-to-face interview, to help the school better determine if you are suited for life as a truck driver. CDL School offers classes for both the full-time and the part-time student. New classes begin often, so there is not a long delay between enrollment and starting your truck driver education. The school also offers job placement services for the lifetime of all graduates.

SAGE Truck Driving School operates at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida. Before you are admitted, you must provide the school with a copy of physical exam on an official Department of Transportation form, an enrollment application and a copy of a valid driver’s license. Students must also be able to pass a drug screen. An interview is also required as part of the application process, and prospective students are encouraged to take a tour of the facilities before applying. SAGE offers pre-enrollment counseling to ensure all students know the demands of the job and their financial obligations, and the school provides job assistance to students after graduation as well.
