    Louisiana Technical College-Lafayette Campus

    • Louisiana Technical College (LTC) is part of a statewide system of technical schools. The first incarnation of the Lafayette branch campus opened in 1973 as Lafayette Regional Institute. Students enrolled at LTC in Lafayette can choose from courses in hospitality and tourism, clinical laboratory technician, culinary arts and aviation maintenance technology, among dozens of other associate degree-granting vocational programs of study. The school also has an active student life, with school associations and organizations including student government and the information technology club.

    Remington College-Lafayette

    • Much like the other vocational schools in Lafayette, Remington College has other campuses in the state, and even in many other southern states as well. At Remington, the school designs courses that can facilitate the schedules of working students. Among the college's associate degree and diploma programs are cosmetology, electronic technology and pharmacy technician. In addition, the school has a career services department that guides students in their career paths upon graduation. There are also financial aid resources available to Remington students.
