Construction Inspector Schools

Construction inspectors are responsible for the regulation of builders and construction workers.     College of the Canyons

    • College of the Canyons opened in 1969 and is one of the fastest expanding community colleges in California. Serving the Santa Clarita area, this school has a central campus with features such as a performing arts center. The curriculum at College of the Canyons requires general education courses in subjects such as natural sciences, languages, humanities, and physical education. Students are required to complete a minimum of 60 credits to graduate, including the courses required by each major.

    College of the Desert

    • College of the Desert is located in Palm Desert and serves Riverside County, California. The school enrolls approximately 12,000 students, a third of which are full-time students. College of the Desert is notably one of the nation's leading educators on alternative fuel training. This school offers a 26-credit building inspection-focused certificate or a 60-credit associate degree in construction management. General education requirements of 18 credits are required to graduate with an associate degree.

    Arapahoe Community College

    • Arapahoe Community College is located in Littleton, Colorado and was founded in 1965. Serving the Arapahoe county area in Colorado, the school offers more than 100 different associate degree programs. Associate degrees in building construction inspection are 66-credit curricula with concentrations in business, solar photovoltaic or residential energy analysis.
