How to Get a Dental Technician Degree in Washington

Dental technicians, also sometimes referred to as dental laboratory technicians, develop dental devices for patients' mouths. They receive detailed order instructions from prescribing dentists and oral surgeons. To become a dental technician, a specialized course of study is required. In Washington, the only school that trains students for this career is Bates Technical College in Tacoma. Its program is accredited by the National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology, which means that after completion, you'll be eligible to take the Certified Dental Technician exam and become a Registered Graduate (RG).
