Technical Schools in New York City

Technical schools are two-year colleges that primarily prepare students for employment in a particular field. The coursework at technical schools relates directly to the type of career students are studying for, unlike traditional colleges that require general studies to be a major part of the program of study. In New York City, technical schools are in virtually every part of the city. When choosing a technical school in the NYC area, be sure that the school is accredited, or your degree/certificate may not secure you employment.
