Joseph P Keefe Technical School was founded in 1972. A co-educational facility, it is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. There are both academic and career-based programs available. Vocational training is available in 13 different areas, including the automotive industry, business technology, information systems, carpentry, graphic design, and plumbing. An on-site cafeteria is available for students and staff. The school has summer camps where students can take part in sports and explore areas of potential career interest.

The school features a student-run a la carte restaurant called the Skyline Bistro, where all menu items are prepared by culinary students. The automotive technology program is certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation. New England Institute of Technology was founded in 1940 and is now one of the leading technical career-based education facilities in New England. It offers Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, and Master's Degree programs, in more than 35 areas. Information technology, aviation sciences, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, plumbing technology, surgical technology, and nursing technology are among the areas taught. The college has a careers service office, helping students to prepare resumes, and teaching interview techniques.
