    • The Tulsa Welding School is the largest accredited welding school in the United States, along with its other campus in Jacksonville, Florida.

      Programs for prospective students at the Tulsa Welding School include a master welder program, a welding technology associate degree and a structural welder program. The Tulsa Welding School's curriculum is geared toward hands-on experience, with four of every five days of instruction spent welding.

      A Tulsa Welding School student can complete training in as little as seven months, according to the school's website. The Welding School provides support for students while they are attending class as well as placement support for graduates. The school support staff provides help with financial aid, employment assistance and student housing.

    Brown Mackie College

    • Brown Mackie College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, offers technical degrees in the areas of surgical technology and information technology and programs in business, early childhood education, health care and wellness, legal studies, nursing and veterinary studies. The college has campuses in 13 states across the United States. The curriculum is presented one course per month, which enables students to concentrate on one subject until it is completed before moving on to another subject.

      The information technology program provides students with the skills necessary to work on infrastructure design and development, as a support specialist, with a help desk or with software training.

      Those students who pursue a degree in surgical technology will be equipped with the education necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the field of surgical technology. The curriculum includes general and specialty study in surgical procedures, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, the principles of anesthesia and surgical technology techniques.

      Brown Mackie College is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award bachelor's degrees, associate degrees and diplomas. The student services support staff also provides job search assistance for graduates.

    Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology

    • The Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology is located within minutes of the Tulsa International Airport. Students attending Spartan College can receive an associate of applied science degree or a bachelor of science degree in aviation technology management. Those students who choose to pursue a degree in avionics can complete a diploma program in 15 months or go on to achieve the applied science degree in 18 months.

      Student services include ongoing career service to graduates, job search skill building and two on-campus career fairs annually. Housing assistance and financial aid also are provided by the student service staff.

      Students wishing to tour the campus can fill out a tour request form on the Spartan College website or call the school to schedule a tour. Tours are usually held Monday through Friday and open house events are held several times each year.

    Rose State College

    • Rose State College has provided post-secondary education in Oklahoma, and elsewhere via distance learning, since 1970. The college became a member of the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education in 1973. More than 8,000 students are enrolled at the Midwest City campus.

      Roast State College offers career and technical education to students without previous college experience and those students transferring from other institutions. Besides technical programs, Rose State College offers programs in general education, economic development services, student development services, community services and institutional research.

      Rose State College is accredited by the American Bar Association, the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, as well as state organizations such as the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education and the State of Oklahoma State Accrediting Agency.

      Students can take advantage of financial aid services, participate in student government and join one or more of the many student activity organizations.
