Located minutes north of downtown Tampa, The Art Institute of Tampa offers degrees in many subjects, including Culinary, Design, Fashion and Media Arts. The digital photography Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is categorized under the Media Arts designation and includes the study of technical aspects of digital photography as well as hands-on experience with the computer programs used for digital photograph editing. Its downtown Tampa campus offers degrees in Fashion and Interior Design as well as Professional Photography. The Professional Photography Associate's degree program covers a range of subject material, including portrait photography, photojournalism and wedding photography. Located in an upscale neighborhood of Winter Park a few minutes north of Orlando, the Crealde School of Art offers several courses in photography, including Digital Workshops that include specific courses on cameras, the basics of digital photography and advanced techniques. Individual courses last eight weeks each and are held in their building located on the main street in Winter Park. Founded in 1975, the Crealde School of Art emphasizes small class sizes as well as one-on-one training in its programs.
