Schools for Medical Receptionists

Medical receptionists are often the first face a patient sees when entering a doctors' office. Medical receptionists may be charged with greeting patients, working with the computer, answering phone calls, receiving and sorting mail, scheduling appointments and general office organization. Medical receptionists may have additional duties in medical filing and may need specialized education. In order to secure employment, applicants may need a degree or certificate from a school that offers programs for medical receptionists.
