Louisiana Tech University has an aviation traing school that provides the students a bachelor's degree in professional aviation and aviation management. The school maintain 12 Cessna aircraft to train students and prepare them for certification and licensing. Flight training includes classroom courses, simulator training and hands-on flight training. Professional Air is a private aviation training school located in Bend, Oregon. The school trains commercial and private pilots on Piper Seminole or Cessna aircraft. The flight school has partnered with Central Oregon Community College to offer an associate's degree in aviation science. The school has classroom courses, simulator training and hands-on flight training to certify students as pilots or flight instructors.
