Bachelor RN Study Abroad Programs

Study abroad programs for Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students provide them with opportunities to learn nursing practices on a global scale. These programs take place in a variety of countries, and the type of activities in which the students will participate depends on the program. Some BSN study abroad programs give students the opportunity to take nursing courses at a university in another country. Other programs send students to developing nations to provide care for high-risk populations, while observing how limited resources impact health and health care. As with any study abroad program, students are expected to leave the experience with knowledge of a different society and culture. Nursing students also get to observe the role nursing plays around the world.
