How to Cite a Collection of Stories

Students of literature spend much of their time writing research papers. They may study poetry, novels or collections of short stories. In addition to investigating secondary sources and deconstructing the texts, students will write academic papers. Post-secondary institutions expect their students to consistently and accurately cite their references. Incomplete citation leaves a student vulnerable to accusations of plagiarism. Some sources are easier to cite than others. Those that have more than one author such as a collection of short stories are more difficult. Fortunately, it is not difficult to learn the accepted, conventional form of citation.
