Press the "On" button located in the lower left corner of the keyboard to turn the device on. This key also functions as the "Off" button. Press the "2nd" button followed by the "On" button to power the calculator off when you are finished using it.
Use the number buttons and the function buttons on the side of the keyboard to enter in an equation you want to solve. The plus, minus, multiply and divide buttons can be entered anywhere in the equation, as well as the "Degree" symbol for using exponents, the decimal point for decimals, and brackets for separating certain parts of the equation.
Check the equation to ensure it is correct on the display. To make a change, use the arrow buttons to navigate to the element you want to change and replace it by pressing a button on the keyboard. When finished, pressing the "Enter" button produces the solution to the equation on a new line.
Press the "Y=" button at any time to enter the graphing window. You will see a list of four available slots to enter in an equation. Use the arrow keys to select a slot, and use the keyboard to type in an equation defining the variable "Y" in terms of "X" and press the "Graph" button to show a graph of the equation. The graph will display a line indicating what "Y" will equal if "X" equals a certain number in the equation.
