Research Grants for a PhD

Regardless of the field of doctoral study, there are grants available to help fund your research. Start checking with your home institutions first for monies available to students. For more aid, government and private institutions also offer a wide range of assistance. Obtaining grant money is important since the amount of debt following graduation can be large. Any decrease in education-related expenses can be beneficial financially, both in the long and short-term.
