Scholarships for a PhD in Finance

A PhD program in finance prepares students to conduct independent research using applied and theoretical perspectives in finance related fields. Graduates from a PhD in finance have a solid foundation in financial methods, technologies and applied research, which enables them to work in research and teach, or as consultants and senior financial analysts in the corporate sector. Due to the long duration of PhD programs, most institutions offer financial assistance to students in the form of grants, scholarships or assistantships.
