This United States Department of Agriculture-run program is for full-time undergraduates and graduates in good academic standing who agree to work for the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service during school breaks.
"Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, activities with purebred dogs or related research and need," according to the American Kennel Club website. "All applicants must be enrolled as full-time students at an accredited United States veterinary medical school."
Many veterinary science programs at colleges have their own scholarship programs for students attending that specific college. Check with your college financial aid office.
