Graduate Biology Research Grants

A key component of many graduate degree programs involves the completion of a student research project. While some colleges and universities provide funding support for graduate research, it's not always readily available for all students. Fortunately, there are a number of organizations that offer grant funding for graduate research in areas related to technology and science, including biology.
  1. Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology Grants-In-Aid of Research

    • The Society for Integrative and Comparative Biology (SICB) sponsors the Grants-In-Aid of Research program for graduate students who are completing research in areas related to integrative and comparative biology. The program provides grants of up to $1,000. All applicants must be current members of SICB. Grant proposals may be submitted online only and grant funding may not be used for educational or travel expenses.
