Private Nursing Schools in California

California has many private colleges and universities that offer nursing degrees at all levels---associate, bachelor's, master's and doctorate. Private schools typically have higher tuition and fees, a major factor that makes admission less competitive when compared to public schools with less expensive nursing programs. While most private schools are religion-based, there are some programs without a religious foundation.
