The largest seminary in America is Fuller Theological Seminary. Nearly 4,000 students attend the main campus in Pasadena, California. In addition to a school of theology, Fuller has schools of psychology and intercultural studies. Master's and doctoral degrees are offered at these schools, which stress biblical principles as the foundation of their curriculums. Well-known graduates of Fuller include Rick Warren, Rob Bell, John Piper and John Ortberg.

With over 2,000 students, Dallas Theological Seminary is one of the most widely recognized Protestant institutions in the nation. Most students work toward a master's degree, but about 100 doctoral students are on campus as well. Dallas teaches a systematic theology of dispensationalism and biblical inerrancy. Many famous conservative evangelicals are alumni, including Chuck Swindoll, Tony Evans, Michael Easley and David Jeremiah.

Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is one of the oldest seminaries in the country, established in 1859. Over 2,000 students attend the institution, studying at the School of Theology, the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism and Church Growth, the School of Church Ministries and Boyce College. SBTS offers master's and doctoral degrees in divinity. A prominent board member of the conservative group Focus on the Family, Albert Mohler Jr., is president of the seminary as of 2010.
