The University of Central Florida’s College of Business Administration offers a management information systems program that leads to a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree. This program teaches students how to design effective information systems for organizations as well as implement and maintain these information systems. Courses include legal and ethical environments of business, introduction to international business, database management systems and distributed information systems.

Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona offers three degree options for students who are pursuing a degree in management information systems. Students can choose to pursue an undergraduate degree, a master’s degree or a doctoral degree in management information systems. The University of Arizona has partnered with the City University of Hong Kong to provide students with a dual-degree option which will provide students with an international edge in the workplace. Students will take courses that include responsible information management, business communications, management of information technology, and social and ethical issues of the Internet.

The University of Alabama offers management information systems program options for students who wish to pursue their undergraduate degree, graduate degree or doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in management information systems. Students are able to choose from a variety of specialization option, including accounting, health care management, personal wealth management, entrepreneurship and human resource strategy. This program prepares students for entry-level work as a systems analyst, application programmer, end support user specialist or information analyst.
