    • Accredited by the Texas Dental Hygienist Association, Texas A&M Health Science Center Baylor College of Dentistry also known as HSC-BCD has trained dental hygienists for more than 100 years.     Concorde Career Institute

    • The dental assistant program at Concorde Career Institute teaches students skills in radiology, patient charts, and front desk requirements. Concorde’s dental laboratory provides hands-on training, such as preparing instruments, administering fluoride treatments, and processing patient X-rays. Students complete an externship, which prepares them for entry-level dental assisting. Concorde Career Institute is a branch campus of Concorde Career Institute Aurora, Colorado.     High-Tech Institute

    • High-Tech Institute is authorized by Accrediting Council of Independent College and Schools to award dental assisting diplomas. The dental assistant diploma program gives students the skill set necessary to become an entry-level dental assistant. High-Tech requires all students to have 256 hours in an unpaid externship with a dental office. High-Tech Dallas is a branch campus of the Bryman School of Arizona.     Kaplan College

    • Kaplan College offers a dental assistant diploma program that trains students to become chair-side assistants to a dentist. Accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education, this program teaches students to take X-rays, create dental impressions, and sterilize and set up instrument trays. Students learn how to assist the dentist in four-handed dentistry. In addition to the dental skills, students acquire skills in dental office and records management.
