Calculate the ENTER aggregate. This is done by adding together the best ENTER Subject Score in any of the English studies plus the ENTER Subject Scores of the three best studies. Additionally, if available, add 10 percent of the ENTER Subject Score for a fifth study, and another 10 percent for a sixth study. This number should be more than 210.
Rank all eligible students in order of their ENTER Aggregate scores. A percentage rank should be assigned to students evenly on a 100-point scale. Students who have the same ENTER Aggregate score are assigned the same number on the scale.
Convert the percentage rank into an ENTER score. The ENTER score is an estimate of how the student did compared with others who have taken the VCE test in a similar age group, or those who left school before the 12th year after successfully finishing the VCE test.
