How to Calculate LSAT

Knowing how to calculate your Law School Admission Test (LSAT) score from the Law School Admission Company (LSAC) can make the difference between absent-mindedly applying to schools that will reject you and sending out applications to schools that will jump-start your legal career. You will need to have a transcript of your test; memorizing the four scores from the four different sections will be utterly impossible. Luckily, the LSAC will send you the transcript after you take the exam.

  Calculate the total number of questions you answered correctly in each of the four sections. The four sections are: Reading Comprehension, Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reason and Essay Writing, in that order.

  Take all of the correct answers from each section and add them together.

  Use your LSAT score and compare it to the LSAC Conversion Table. Your score will not be higher than 101 nor lower than 0. Look for your calculated score under the Highest Score and Lowest Score headings, and then look to the left to locate your LSAT score.
