How to Sign Up for the PLT Exam

The PLT test is the Principles of Learning and Teaching test, which is part of the Praxis II test. Before becoming a licensed educator in any state you are required to complete the PLT test for your chosen grade level. Your test score determines your competency as an educator; failing means you will not receive your license to teach. Once your test is complete, scores are sent to the state Department of Education for review. You are then contacted regarding your licensure status. Register for the PLT to get the ball rolling on your educational career.
