Schools of Holistic Nutrition

Holistic health is a balanced, whole-person view of health. Instead of isolating conditions and symptoms, holistic health tries to look at the full spectrum of a person's physical and social well-being, along with mental and spiritual health. Holistic nutrition focuses directly on what a person eats, and approaches patients in terms of balancing micro- and macronutrients, organic and common foods, education and more natural living. There are many schools across the United States which offer training, certificates and degrees in holistic nutrition, most often used by graduates to start their own careers in holistic nutritional coaching and consulting.
