U.S. News and World Report ranked the nation’s top primary care medical schools in 2009 after surveying 146 programs.

    • The University of Washington in Seattle was ranked number one for the 16th consecutive time in 2009, with 870 students enrolled in the medical school. The school strives to assume leadership in the biomedical sciences and academic medicine.The in-state tuition was $19,122, compared with $45,527 for out-of-state tuition.
