LPN to RN Programs in South Dakota

Licensed practical nurses, or LPNs, care for people who are sick, injured or disabled, usually under the direction of physicians or registered nurses, or RNs. After becoming competent and satisfied in his role as a LPN, he might wish to advance in the health care field. Some LPNs climb the ranks by attaining RN licensing. The South Dakota Board of Nursing has posted approved LPN-to-RN programs, which may either lead to an associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or bachelor of science in nursing (BSN). These programs will also qualify a registered nurse to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
