Canadian Medical Colleges

Unlike in America, the Canadian medical degree is an undergraduate program. Graduates receive a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. The curriculum is divided into general medical studies and a specific area of focus like pediatrics, surgery or obstetrics and gynecology. The Association of American Medical Colleges accredits 17 medical colleges in Canada.
