Albert Einstein Medical Center offers a four-year certificate program in diagnostic radiology. During the first three years of the program, the curriculum will focus on preparing students for the board examination. Students will learn the fundamentals of radiology while completing clinical rotations in departments throughout the hospital. The fourth year of the program allows students to refine their skills or focus on a sub-specialization such as nuclear medicine, mammography, or gastrointestinal radiology. Once students finish the initial program, they will also need to complete a one-year transitional medicine residency followed by a four-year diagnostic radiology residency. If they choose, students may complete the first year of clinical service at a different medical facility.
