    • The University of Louisville offers a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. This is a four-year degree that requires a total of 124 credit hours, between prerequisites and dental hygiene courses. This school is the only one in Kentucky that is inside a school of dentistry. The junior and senior years are held within this dental school. Financial aid is available.

    Middlesex Community College

    • Middlesex Community College offers an associate degree in dental hygiene. This is a two-year degree that requires 74 credit hours over two semesters. There is a clinic associated with this school where the student can get practical experience. Financial aid is available to those that need it.
