Dental Schools in Minnesota

A number of dental schools in Minnesota offer programs for dental assistants and hygienists. Demand for these professions are increasing, as the U.S. population continues to increase, especially the number of elderly, who require more dental care. At the same time, the proportion of dental work that is for aesthetic and preventive purposes is also increasing. Dentists, many of whom are self-employed and whose work has traditionally been largely curative, are assigning more tasks to assistants and hygienists, Minnesota being no exception.
