Australian Law Schools are recognized as offering high quality value-for-money education. There is a difference between U.S. and Australian Law degrees; the terms LLB, form the latin Legum Baccalaureus, and LLM denoting Bachelor and Master Degrees, are the common qualifications students will earn, although some schools offer a Juris Doctor or JD which is directly equivalent to it's U.S. counterpart.

    Sydney Law School

    • According to the 2009 Times Higher Education Supplement University Rankings Sydney Law School was rated equal second and thirty-sixth in national and world rankings respectively. SLS welcomes international students devoting a dedicated Support Unit to aid oversees learners with any issues surrounding separation from family, friends and culture.     • The University of Queensland, TC Beirne School of Law began classes in 1936 and is ranked fourth best law school in Australia and forty-first in the world. The School offers LLB, LLM, Business and Applied Law courses.
