The ANU College of Law was founded in 1960 and is ranked as the top Law School in Australia and seventeenth in the world according to the 2009 Times Higher Education Supplement University Rankings. The College welcomes international students from more than 30 countries and offers a range of courses at both graduate and postgraduate level. ANU LLB qualifications are recognised for admission to practice law in Australia as well as in Singapore, Malaysia and India. The University of Queensland, TC Beirne School of Law began classes in 1936 and is ranked fourth best law school in Australia and forty-first in the world. The School offers LLB, LLM, Business and Applied Law courses.
