How to Find Out If a College Is Accredited

When selecting a college to attend, consider your continuing education needs. Attending a school that is not accredited is risky, as you may end up putting money and time into a program that will not help you get your job of choice. Accreditation ensures that the college has passed stringent standards and qualifications set forth by state and regional college accreditation agencies. Do your research before applying to find properly accredited schools.
