How to Find Out My J Number for Community College of Philadelphia

A "J" number is a nine-character student identification number assigned to students at the Community College of Philadelphia and is not easy to memorize. In fact, many students at the college fail to remember their J number when it is most needed. At the Community College of Philadelphia, you can't enroll for classes online without a J number. New students are issued a J number online or in person, while current students can retrieve their J number by looking through their old paperwork or in person at the school.
