How to Find Out If an Online School Is Accredited in Canada

The Internet has brought tremendous educational opportunities to those who would prefer to study from home. With those opportunities come the risk of scams. Students who attend unaccredited online schools risk spending time and money on an education that potential employers and other schools will not recognize because of uncertainty about the quality of learning. Fortunately, the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada maintains a list of authorized online educational institutions in Canada.
