Though its only existed for 25 years, this joint engineering program between Florida State University and Florida A&M University ranked 92nd in a list of the top 100 Engineering Schools by U.S. News & World Report . Its motto is "Quality, Growth and Diversity," and the program occupies two state-of-the-art engineering buildings with plenty of laboratory space. Students will find many opportunities for sponsored research, as well as the chance to collaborate with one of the six research centers, such as the Florida Advanced Center for Composite Technologies or the Center for Advanced Power Systems. In this program, students will discover many opportunities to build a sturdy foundation in engineering, with access to many research opportunities, in engineering fields extending from nanomagnetics to intelligent systems and robotics.
