Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist Schools

Throughout the United States, several schools offer programs in invasive cardiovascular technology, a field the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts will grow by 24 percent from 2008 through 2018. These schools carry certification from the Committee on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs. This satisfies the requirements of Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Invasive cardiovascular technologist schools combine classroom-based education and hands-on clinical experience to prepare students to perform medical tests such as heart catheterization.
