Bates is the only college in Washington state that offers a denturist program, according to the Bates Technical College website. Once they complete the program, students can take the examination for state licensing in Washington or Oregon. They learn about anatomy, physiology, microbiology, ethics, office management and laboratory techniques. Students receive training at the Bates' Denturist Clinic. They have the option to complete a one-year certificate or a two-year associate degree. Financial aid and scholarships are available to all students.

This school offers a 20-month certificate program to students who are interested in careers as denturists. Students learn the knowledge and skills they need to enhance oral health to their patients. They will learn about complete dentures, partial dentures, overdentures and dentures over implants. After completing the externship, students are eligible to take the examination by the College of Denturists in British Columbia. Financial aid and awards are available to students.

George Brown College is another Canadian college that offers the scope of the denturists' practice. It offers a three-year diploma program. Students learn about treatment and planning, design, fabrication, partial and immediate dentures and implanted-support dentures. Other curricula includes studying mouth guards, anti-snoring devices and teeth whitening. When completing this program, students must take the examination for licensing by the College of Denturists of Ontario. Housing and financial aid is available.
