Colleges For a Cardiovascular Technologist

Cardiovascular technologists use equipment to aid doctors in diagnosing and treating patients. Community colleges and technical schools often offer associate degree and certificate programs in this health science field and expose students to both theoretical and clinical aspects of the field. Clinical internships and practicums in hospitals supplement courses such as cardiovascular pharmacology and medical instrumentation. Upon graduation, students are ready for entry-level employment at hospitals, diagnostic laboratories and private physicians' offices.
