Cardiovascular Sonography Schools

Medical cardiovascular sonography focuses on the use of ultrasound to create images and diagnose the heart and circulatory system, often as an alternative to radiology (X-ray). According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities in this field will grow much faster than average over the next eight years. Numerous schools offer career training programs, preparing students to be cardiovascular technicians, sometimes called echocardiographers or cardiac sonographers.
